I’m thrilled to share that Hold Tight Together is finally out in its entirety. I tried something different with this one, releasing one song at a time since the start of the year. It’s been fun, stressful, and rewarding. It’s led to this release having a little less fanfare around it than the last few albums, but I’ve been very lucky to highlight each song as it’s come out. Learn more about the album and those that worked on it on its page.
The last of the new songs is Gleam, which is streaming (along with the rest of the album) in all the places:
Apple Music • Spotify • Bandcamp • Amazon • Tidal
I’ve also thrown together a video for Gleam, reflecting back on the wonderful artists I’ve been fortunate to play with over the years:
In addition to the five new songs, I uploaded a demo of Dreams (where I tried something very different) Blanket and Sticker, along with live versions of Well and Yo-Yo. (And don’t forget about the re-imagined Sick of You and the single The Guy Who Brings the Yo-Yos To Your Elementary School, which are featured on the CD version of the album.)
If you’d like to own the music on CD or Vinyl, please check out the store. I’d love to ship one to you….or stop by a show sometime. There are some great ones coming up, including a string band show in Chinese Camp, an acoustic trio set at the Sierra Bigfoot Music Festival, the full band at Prospect 772, Camp Connell, and Hermitfest. And I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be performing a solo set at the Sag Harbor Music Festival. What a crazy time.
Thanks for supporting this project as I’ve worked on it. I’m very grateful for your support, and your ears.
