If you sing it out and mean it, it almost counts as a prayer
I’m thrilled to share three singles recorded live at Brice Station Vineyards last August. If you were at that show, you know how magical the night was. Our bass player Dave recorded the entire show and mixed up a few tracks that we were especially excited to share.
“Blanket” is a pretty simple concept—it’s cold, and you’ve been gone for too long, but you’re on your way home tonight and I cannot wait. That’s it. No murder, I promise. (I can’t say the same for “The Lampolier” though.)
The players here are, from left to right in the video, Marshall Henry (electric guitar & backing vocals), Owen Ragland (fiddle), Me, Josh Certo (drums), Graham Richards (keys), and Dave Duggan (Bass). Dave also did the recording and mixing. Music & lyrics by Grover, live engineering by Ron Schaner & Kelly Ellifritz.
Thanks for checking it out…don’t be afraid to add it to a playlist, tell a friend, post it to your feed, or whatever strikes your fancy.
