When I was touring through Pennsylvania in July, I was invited to the City View Sound studio in Nazareth, PA (home of Martin Guitars!) by owner Jack DeBlasio. I sat down for an interview and played “The Good” and they made it look very cool. Fun fact—I foolishly assumed that they wouldn’t be filming me below the waist, so I wore shorts (it was summer!) and kind of look like a total goober.
I always have fun wondering how I’ll make a fool of myself in these videos, and this time it was definitely when I said there’s nothing original about my music. I was trying to make a point about drawing on influences and merging them in with my own experiences, but I had a total brain fart and basically pwned myself.
But I went to Martin Guitars and took some lame tourist photos and it was all good!
