With the album out in the world now, I wanted to put together a playlist that included one solid hour of what I believe to be my best recordings. An “Essential Grover Anderson” playlist, if you will. I got the idea from Joe Pug, who has such a playlist and promotes it on his amazing podcast The Working Songwriter. But enough about Joe, we’re here for me!
No surprise that it’s pretty heavy on The Frontman, given how excited I am about that album. And fan favorites “Little Spoon” and “Moonshine” couldn’t be neglected. I also included a few of my favorite story songs, like “Boulder”, “Philip Marshall Cates”, and “Old Songs”.
The playlist exists on both Spotify and Apple Music (though the Apple one has some weird sync issues and doesn’t include The Good. It’s weird and I don’t know how to fix it.) If you’re here, that means you’re halfway interested in the music, so it would be awesome if you followed the playlist on your preferred service and played it often! Thanks!
