On November 1, a group of young folks from Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties came together to put on the Phoenix Festival at Ironstone Vineyards. I was thrilled to be an organizing committee member. The event raised $22,406 for the Calaveras Community Foundation‘s Disaster Relief Fund, which goes to non-profits throughout Calaveras County to help rebuild after the devastating Butte Fire. Phoenix Festival 2015 wrapped up with a group performance of “The Weight” by The Band, led by The Little Fuller Band and featuring me, The Hot Dark, Risky Biscuits, and The Brothers Strong & Co. Here’s video:
